16 Nov Adjustment In The PhilHealth Premium Contributions Effective This January 2018
In a statement released by PhilHealth, there will be an adjustment in the Premium Contributions of the Employed Sector Program. The increase in contribution payments is said made to sustain the National Health Insurance Program (NHIP).
To be effective starting this January 2018, the monthly premium contributions shall be equally shared by the employees and their employers based on the following:
Monthly Basic Salary x 2.75% | Monthly Premium | Personal Share | Employer Share |
P10,000 and below | P275 | P137.50 | P137.50 |
P10,000.01 to P39,999.99 | P275.2 to P1099.99 | P137.51 to 549.99 | P137.51 to 549.99 |
P40,000.00 and above | P1,100.00 | P550.00 | P550.00 |
However, the premium contributions of the Kasambahay shall be shouldered solely by the household employer. In case, Kasamabahay is receiving a monthly salary of P5,000.00 or above, there shall be a proportionate share for the Kasambahay and household employer.
