17 Oct AFP Guarantees Reward Money To Informants Of Maute-ISIS Terrorists
In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) gave the assurance that they will release the reward money to anybody who will tip about the hiding place of the Maute-ISIS terrorist leaders.
The announcement came after the government’s man-hunt operation to hunt down Abu-Sayyaf leader, Isnilon Hapilon, and Maute founder and leader Omar Maute, who were both killed yesterday, October 16.
In addition, Chief Staff of AFP General Eduardo Año that the bounty reward money will still be processed before it will be released.
He said that they are going to process documents to get the 5 million dollars reward from the United States equivalent to Hapilon’s head.
Processing the said reward money from the US will take longer if compared with getting the reward money from the Philippine Government that will give P5 million each for the head of brothers Omar and Abdullah Maute and P10 million for Hapilon’s.
Furthermore, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana revealed that the informant who tipped the location of the two terrorist leaders is a woman who was previously held captive by the terrorists.
