13 Jul AFP: Member Recruitments of Maute-ISIS Terrorist Group, Now Nationwide
Mga higala! The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has confirmed, yet again, that the Maute-ISIS Terrorist Group is now intensifying their recruitment operations inside state colleges and universities in Mindanao, and other parts of the country.
According to Bombo Radyo, Joint Task Force-Ranao deputy commander Col. Romeo Brawner Jr. has revealed that Maute-ISIS’ recruitments in Lanao del Sur, Iligan, and Cagayan de Oro have already spread to Luzon and Visayas.
Brawner also added that the terrorist group is using deceitful tactics and manipulative offers in order to convince their targeted students in fighting against the government.
The AFP has also discovered that some Maute-ISIS members are pretending to be hiring police applicants that will fight against Maute leader “Abu Dar”, while some of them are bribing parents with amounts as high as 70,000 pesos just to enlist their children in “violent extremism” activities in Mindanao.
