20 Jan Alleged Drug Queen of Mindanao, Lovely Adam Impal Nabbed in Iligan City

The supposed “drug queen” of Mindanao was arrested in a drug buy-and-bust operation conducted by the operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Iligan City on January 18, Wednesday.
According to a report from Inquirer, the alleged drug queen identified as Lovely Adam Impal was caught in the act as she was attempting to sell a packet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or commonly known as shabu to a PDEA agent.
It was said that Impal is responsible for supplying illegal drugs to top drug distributor in the country including Kerwin Espinosa.
A total of 110 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P550,000 were recovered from the suspect.
Meanwhile, Impal denied there was a buy-bust operation in her house in Iligan saying that the operatives just barged into her residence and arrested her and her companions.
Farina Rato, Impal’s sister, and Alvin Pamilian were also arrested.
Impal was selling and giving out samples of her drugs in an effort to expand her chain and re-convince other drug pushers to go back in selling illegal drugs, said PDEA-10 regional director Adrian Alvariño.
In 2016, it has been reported that she submitted herself to PNP Director General Ronald Dela Rosa when she was pointed out by Espinosa identifying her as one of his suppliers, but she was allowed to go home.
But Impal said that it would be a shame that she already surrendered to Dela Rosa and would return again to drug pushing. “No, I do not sell drugs anymore,” she said.
