LOOK: Alligator Gar Fish Found In River @ Maramag, Bukidnon

Mga higala! Alligator Gar (Atractosteus spatula), a non-native species of fish found mostly in the United States (and Mexico), was recently discovered along the Pulangi River, in the Maramag area (Bukidnon)!

ICYDK, alligator gars have torpedo-shaped bodies and are known for their alligator-like heads and broad snouts. They also have a lot of sharp teeth and sharp scales.

According to reports, this fish may have been owned by a fish collector or hobbyist and was just disposed of in the said river.
