16 Apr LOOK: The Anas Falls, One Of Iligan City’s Hidden Gems
Mga higala! If you wanna have a fairly challenging weekend adventure, you should try visiting one of Iligan City’s hidden gems– the Anas Falls!
Anas Falls is one of the city’s unlisted or undocumented waterfalls, that’s located in Brgy. Panoroganan (which is over an hour away from the city proper).
To reach this waterfall, you need to endure a long ride through undeveloped roads and a moderately tough hike or trek.
HOW TO GET THERE?
- Ride a private car or motorcycle going to Rogongon center. About 30-45 min of travel time from the city proper.
- From Rogongon, ride another motorcycle going to Panorogangan approximately 45 minutes rough ride. Note: Prepare your legs and arms for a rocky adventure.
- From the stopover, you will start the descent to the stream connected to the waterfalls. The hike will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
- When you reach the stream, it will take another 30-40 minute river trek against the water flow.
BTW, don’t worry! All your hard work will be worth it! Check out the photos below:
