20 May Sec. Andanar Highlights Efforts Of SK @ Brgy. Tablon Against COVID-19
Mga higala! Secretary Martin M. Adanar recently featured the initiatives of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) in Brgy. Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City, in the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Andanar interviewed SK Chairman Suzzane N. Martil in his CORDS-X COVID 19 Special, regarding their council’s various programs.
Martil then revealed that their council and youth leaders volunteered to conduct information drives in Brgy. Tablon’s 16 puroks to disseminate vital information about COVID-19.
They also assisted in making face shields for frontliners and in distributing relief packs, masks, hand soaps, and disinfectants to tricycle divers, sikad drivers, street vendors, indigenous people, and to other people in need.
Martil also added that their council took part in the repacking and distribution of relief goods, barangay exit passes, and more, and conducted phone interviews to help identify qualified beneficiaries for the Disaster Assistance and Family Access Card (DAFAC) and the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).
They even assisted in the distribution of cash aid.
