07 Dec Angkas To Need CDO Gov’t Approval Before Resuming Operations
Mga higala! Before resuming operations in Cagayan de Oro, motorcycle-hailing service– Angkas, will need to apply for a permit from the city government!
This is one of the requirements given by the technical working group (TWG) assigned to review Angkas’ application. Safety, traffic congestion, pollution, and other factors are also being considered.
ICYDK, Angkas and other motorcycle-hailing companies like JoyRide and MoveIt have been allowed to resume their operations last November 23, 2020.
However, the following health safety measures and other pilot study guidelines must be followed:
- mandatory use of NTF-approve motorcycle barriers
- passengers are required to bring their own helmets
- motorcycle taxis must use cashless transactions to limit physical contact
