28 Apr Cagayan de Oro’s Animal Shelter and City Pound Facility nears completion

From Cagayan de Oro Official Page, the Animal Shelter and City Pound Facility in Barangay Balubal, Cagayan de Oro is almost done.
Dr. Perlas Asis, City Veterinarian said that the facility will be used as temporary shelter for rescued animals in times of disasters and calamities.
The administration of Mayor Oscar Moreno made the construction possible with the support of the 18th City Council under the Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy.
This project cost P2.4 million within the 4.2-hectare property which is owned by the city government that will have comfortable cages for stray and abandoned animals.
