24 May Ardot Parojinog Arrested in Taiwan

Mga higala! According to ABS-CBN News, fugitive Ozamiz City Councilor Ricardo Ardot Parojinog, who is being investigated for illegal firearms possession, was arrested in Taiwan, ending his 10 months of hiding from the authorities.
For those who don’t know, Ardot is the younger brother of Ozamiz Mayor Reynaldo ‘Aldog’ Parojinog who was linked to the illegal drug trade and was killed in a raid last July 2017.
ABS-CBN News also added that Ardot’s arrested colleagues were the ones who revealed his location to the authorities. This led to his successful arrest on Wednesday, May 23 at Tung-Kang Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan.
Moreover, a team from the Philippine National Police will now fetch him from Taiwan.
