15 Feb Philippine Army Discover NPA’s Hidden Supplies of Food and Medicines in Bukidnon

Armed Forces of The Philippines‘ 88th Infantry Battalion discovered food and medical supplies hidden underground by member’s of the New People’s Army (NPA) in Bukidnon.
Concerned citizens of Sitio Bulacao in Barangay Concepcion, Valencia City informed soldiers operating in the area of the hidden supplies which was extorted from them by the rebels.
Among the excavated items were 40 sacks of rice, food packs, and medical supplies placed inside water containers buried in a secluded area.
In a statement taken by GMA News, Lieutenant Colonel Randy Remonte, commanding officer of the 88th IB of the Army’s 4th ID, thanked the barangay residents for their cooperation.
