07 Sep Authorities Arrest Kagawad & 2 Others @ Butuan City For Transporting Ammo & Food For NPA
Mga higala! Police and military personnel successfully intercepted and arrested a barangay kagawad and 2 other suspects last September 3, 2021, in an operation in Butuan City, for smuggling bullets and food supplies for the NPA!
The said suspects are all from Agusan del Sur and were confirmed to be couriers of the Regional Sentro de Grabidad (RSDG) under the North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee (NEMRC) of the NPA.
The following were confiscated from them:
- 4,800 pieces of 7.62 AK 47 live ammunition
- 2 pieces of rifle grenades
- 3 units of single motorcycles
- assorted food supplies
