Authorities Warn Sellers Against Overpricing Of Face Shields: Profiteers To Be Punished

Mga higala! Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra has warned that sellers who are overpricing face shields amid its rising demand, will be punished to the full extent of the law!

In accordance with this, he is now encouraging the public to report issues like this to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

“Any person who has information on overpricing may report the same to the DTI, and the DOJ will prosecute violators in accordance with existing laws,” said Guevarra.

ICYDK, face shields will be mandatory (on top of the face mask requirement) to all drivers, conductors, and passengers of public transportation in the country, starting this August 15, 2020!
