Wearing a pair of furry slippers was President Rodrigo Duterte during the blessing of his official home in Manila last July 12, 2016.
Named “Bahay Pangarap”, it is located across the Pasig River from the main Palace building.
The said blessing was also attended by Duterte’s staff who greeted him with a large welcoming banner.

After the house blessing, the President headed to Malacañang Palace to chair over a Cabinet meeting where the ruling of the West Philippine Sea would be discussed.
According to Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, Duterte has spent at least one night in Bahay Pangarap which he found it “sad” for he felt alone in the house and for him, the house is too big for his comfort.
