27 Aug Balingoan Records COVID-19 Case Who Traveled Via Public Transport Before Testing Positive
Mga higala! The local gov’t of Balingoan, Misamis Oriental has recorded a new COVID-19 case who may have had close contact with healthcare workers and public transportation passengers, before testing positive the said disease!
This individual is a 30-year-old male from Sto. Niño, South Cotabato, who worked as an oiler in a shipping line traversing the Balingoan-Camiguin route.
Below is his timeline:
August 12
- experienced on and off fever for around 6 days
August 18
- suffered from constipation
August 21
- went for a check-up at the Talisayan Provincial Hospital, via a tricycle, and was serviced by a female nurse
- returned to their sea vessel at around 7:00 pm also via a tricycle and was dropped in a seaport gate
August 22
- went for a follow-up check at the said Talisayan hospital via a habal-habal and stayed there overnight
August 23
- went to the Sanitarium Hospital in Gingoog City for an x-ray and ultrasound
- traveled via a yellow tricab with 3 other passengers
- rode a bus at the Gingoog bus terminal at around 10:00 am
- arrived in Balingoan at around 12:00 pm
August 24
- returned to the Sanitarium Hospital in Gingoog City for his x-ray and ultrasound result
- traveled via a bus
August 25
- traveled to Cagayan de Oro at around 4:45 am via a white van
- arrived in Gaisano at around 7:00 am and boarded a jeepney going to the Polymedic Hospital, for his swab test
- traveled to the Agora Bus Terminal at around 11:00 am and boarded a van
- arrived in Balingoan Bus Terminal at around 1:00 pm

I am LSI from Cebu and arrived here in cagayan August 16, Got isolated and Tested Last August 21, 2020 and my batchmate got their results already for only 3 days and the management in the hotel said that until now I don’t have the results.
