30 Jul LOOK: Bangko Sentral Launches “Enhanced” New Generation Banknotes
Mga higala! The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has officially launched its enhanced new generation currency (NGC) banknotes yesterday, July 29, 2020, which feature the latest in anti-counterfeiting technology!
These enhanced banknotes include the P50, P100, P200, P500, and P1,000 denominations, and has improved anti-counterfeiting attributes and ‘tactile’ properties that will help visually impaired & elderly users:

- Optically Variable Ink
- Tactile Marks
- Enhanced Value Panel

Moreover, these new banknotes will co-exist with the NGC banknotes currently in circulation.
