02 Nov Barangay Chairpersons And Secretaries Undergo Training On BCRS

In an article posted by Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, chairpersons and secretaries of different barangays in Cagayan de Oro City underwent a training on the Barangay Civil Registration System (BCRS) which was organized by the Cagayan de Oro City Administration.
According to the Head of the City Civil Registrar Norma Diputado, the two-day training was aimed to deepen the understanding of the participants with regards to their responsibilities to help and support the citizens of each of their barangays to register their birth date, marriage, and death.
The said responsibility of the barangay captains and their secretaries was stipulated by Section 394 of the Local Government Code and Rule 6, Administrative Order No. 1 Series of 1991 of the Office of the Registrar General.
