12 Oct Brgy. Kauswagan Hailed as “Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa 2017” in Region 10

Barangay Kauswagan in Cagayan de Oro City was awarded as the “Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa 2017” for Region 10 in the highly-urbanized city category.
In an article posted on Cagayan de Oro City Philippines Facebook Page, the award was received by Kauswagan Barangay Captain Pedro Balite together with the members of the Barangay Kauswagan’s “Lupong Tagapamayapa” and DILG Director Engr. Jane Docallos last Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
Aside from the award, P20,000 cash and a trophy were given to the barangay that will represent Region 10 at the national level.
On the other hand, Barangays Camaman-an and Canitoan both in CdeO landed on 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.
“Lupong Tagapamayapa” incentives award aims to give recognition to barangays throughout the Philippines for their efforts to resolve any cases that are escalated in their office.
