26 Nov REMINDER: Basketball & Other Contact Sports Still Prohibited In Misamis Oriental
Mga higala! The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and Department of Interior and Local Government of Region 10 (DILG-10) are now reminding the public that contact sports like basketball are still prohibited in Misamis Oriental!
They are also shutting down rumors on social media that contact sports have been allowed in the province, on the barangay level.
ICYDK, basketball, soccer, and other contact sports are currently banned under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) as part of the minimum health safety measures against the spread of COVID-19.
As of now, only individual sports and exercises like biking, jogging, and more, are allowed.
