Bikers Club Set To Make An Indie Film For Marawi Soldiers

In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the Mindanao Confederation of Big Bike Clubs (MCBBC) is set to make an independent film that will depict the heroic sacrifices of the soldiers to liberate Marawi City from the grip of terrorist groups.

This was announced by Jondi Lacson, a member of the nearly 2,000 motorbike enthusiasts during the “breakfast ride” in Cagayan de Oro City.

According to Lacson, the organization aims to make a production that would make the public remember the sacrifices made by the soldiers. That is why they carried out the “breakfast ride” activity which started at the different streets and ended at Camp Evangelista’s Grandstand of the 4th Infantry Division, Philippine Army in CdeO. The funds of the activity will also go to the livelihood of the soldiers.

Lacson added that among those who participated in the work were soldiers from Camp Aguinaldo to show their support to their colleagues who risked their lives for more than four months in the war-torn city.

In an addition, the team further detailed that they will get a film director and cinematographer to form the concept that will be used to film the life and sacrifices of civilians, government officials, police, and soldiers whose lives are affected by the war.

The film will is also directed to the future generations so that they will not be able to forget the heroism of the soldiers who are fighting to suppress the forces of terrorism in the country.
