29 Jul Bill Establishing PMMA Campus In CDO Lapses Into Law
Mga higala! A bill seeking to establish a Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) campus in Cagayan de Oro City has lapsed into law!
ICYDK, Republic Act 11782 or the “Act Establishing a Campus of PMMA in Cagayan de Oro City” is a bill led by Rep. Rufus B. Rodriguez that aims to provide short-term, technical-vocational, undergraduate, and graduate courses for aspiring cadets in Mindanao and the nearby Visayas islands.
This will help produce highly skilled and qualified individuals in the Southern Philippines who will be guaranteed employment once they graduate.
