06 Jan Bill Seeking P15,000 Ayuda For Fully Vaccinated Families Filed In Congress
Mga higala! A bill aiming to grant a cash aid of P15,000 to families that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 has been filed at the House of Representatives!
The said bill, House Bill 10644 (Ayuda sa Bakuna Act), was authored by Quezon City Rep. Alfred Vargas with the goal of helping ease the difficulties brought by the pandemic to many Filipinos, especially those considered as part of the “poorest of the poor” and those in the vulnerable sector (senior citizens, PWDs, individuals with comorbidities, etc).
If passed, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will be tasked to distribute this one-time cash aid, on top of its current social amelioration programs.
