10 Feb BIR Warns Public Against Buying TIN Cards Online
Mga higala! The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has released an advisory warning the public against buying TIN Cards and transacting with non-BIR personnel on Facebook!
According to the said advisory, “The public is advised that there are Facebook postings of Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) services like BIR TIN ID ASSISTANCE. These are not
authorized/sanctioned by BIR.”
ICYDK, these TIN cards are “not for sale” are only issued or released by the BIR.
