Mga higala! A group of BLIND MASSAGE THERAPISTS who were working at the City Amphitheater in Cagayan de Oro is now complaining because of their low income, after being transferred to a tennis court in Brgy. 40, due to the planned rehabilitation of Divisoria.

28 of these blind masseurs came to the office of Mayor Oscar Moreno on Monday, March 4, and asked him to extend their stay at the amphitheater, since performing massage services are their primary source of income.

Wala pa man nabalhin ang police ug barangay hall, so temporary sa unta mi diha sa Amphi until makasugod na sila sa pag-guba (the police station and barangay hall were not transferred yet, that is why we are asking that we will be allowed to stay temporarily, while the amphitheater was not yet demolished),” said Alan Binayon, one of the blind massage therapists.

The group is also recommending that if they really need to be transferred out of the city amphitheater, it should be to an area with a lot of people, unlike the mentioned tennis court.
