13 May LOOK: Blue Shark Found @ Balingasag, Misamis Oriental
Mga higala! A blue shark (Prionace glauca) was found by fishermen yesterday, May 12, 2021, near the shores between Brgy. Waterfall and Baliwagan in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental!
The said shark had wounds and bruises all over its body but was still alive at first. Sadly, it died after a while and was then properly buried by concerned citizens.
According to a post by Jun Fermo, the blue shark was over 3 meters long and weighed around 300 kilograms.

ICYDK, blue sharks are now in a “near threatened” state.
