BOC-CDO Confiscates Another Batch of Smuggled Onions, Worth: P3 Million

Mga higala! The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Cagayan de Oro confiscated another batch of smuggled onions from China last October 15, 2021!

The said onions arrived in Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) Sub-port in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, and were misdeclared as “frozen malt”.

According to a post by Bureau of Customs PH, the smuggled onions were worth around P3 million and are said to be consigned to South Road Consumer Goods Trading.
