08 Dec LOOK: Bong Go Provides Food, Cash, & More To 222 Recent Fire Victims In Cagayan de Oro
Mga higala! The Office of Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has provided aid to around 222 fire victims (from 69 families) who were affected by the recent fires in Cagayan de Oro City!
The victims are from Brgy. 36, Lumbia, Balulang, and Kauswagan.
Senator Go’s staff conducted a distribution activity for the said aid last Thursday, December 3, 2020, where meals, cash assistance, food packs, masks, face shields, and vitamins were given to the affected number of residents.
Bicycles for work commute and tablets for online classes were also distributed to selected recipients.
(BTW, proper health protocols were strictly observed during the distribution activity.)
Moreover, personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) also provided additional cash assistance while the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted an assessment for potential beneficiaries of their livelihood program and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) profiled potential beneficiaries for their training assistance program.
