Mga higala! Melvin Jerusalem, the pride of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, is now the new WBO World Minimumweight Champion!
ICYMI, Jerusalem defeated Masataka Taniguchi of Japan, via a technical knockout in the 2nd round, during the title fight last night, January 6, 2023, at the EDION Arena of Osaka.
Taniguchi tried to stand up at first but stumbled. He then managed to get up but was deemed unfit to continue by the referee.
