22 Dec 12 Year-Old Boy Committed Suicide Due to Jealousy
A minor was found dead in an abandoned building located at Pabayo-Gaerlan Streets, Cagayan de Oro City.
According to Sun.Star, the boy was committing suicide through a cable wire at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, December 19. The boy was identified as Jesley Fernandez, 12 years old, who was said to be a street kid and a resident of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.
The Police Station 1 (PS1) of Divisoria received a report concerning this incident which prompted them to respond immediately.
The boy’s body was hung 15 inches from the ground in an abandoned building which caused his death.
It was said that he hanged himself due to jealousy against his lover who is also a minor.
The victim was already threatening his girlfriend saying that he would really hang himself if they’re gonna broke up.
According to reports, the victim was hurt when his girlfriend got into a taxi with the alleged boyfriend of the girl.
The remains were brought to Bollozos Funeral Homes at Bulua.
