BPI account holders complain about lost money, negative balances on social media

Just this morning June 7, 2017,  more and more tweets and Facebook posts have been circulating about losing money and negative balances. Some are even seeing withdrawals up to five digits. The Bank of the Philippine Island has already released a statement saying there is an internal data processing error and they are fixing the incorrect posting.

According to a post by ABS-CBN, one human resource officer in Ortigas lost P12,000 due to an automatic debit.
