07 Apr LOOK: BSP Finally Launches New 1,000-Piso Polymer Banknote
Mga higala! The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Department of Finance (DOF) have officially launched the country’s new P1,000 banknotes!
These banknotes are made from polymer, making them resistant to water or liquid damage and harder to counterfeit.
These also last 2.5 times longer than paper banknotes and are less susceptible to viral and bacterial transmission.
BTW, the 1st batch of these polymer banknotes will arrive this month from Australia.
