11 Mar LOOK: Bugo Liner Slapped With P5,000 Penalty For Refusing To Convey Passengers
Mga higala! The operator of a Bugo PUJ Liner whose driver was accused of “Refusal to Convey Passengers” was penalized by LTFRB Region-10 with a penalty of P5,000!
The driver was then warned and reprimanded by Regional Director Aminoden Guro.
ICYDK, the LTFRB was informed of this issue via a Facebook post by Ms. Aida Revelo, where she complained that she was asked to get off from the said driver’s PUJ, despite not reaching her destination yet, because the driver preferred if his passengers rode and paid for Gaisano or Divisoria.
Guro asked both parties to visit his office and express their sides.
They then concluded that even though most of the blame is on the driver or dispatcher, the responsibility for this issue ultimately lies with the operator.
