06 Oct LOOK: Bukidnon Farmer Now A Face Of Nescafé
Mga higala! Leo B. Zambrano of the Zambrano’s Integrated Farm in Barangay Kaatuan in Lantapan, Bukidnon is now one of the faces of Nestlé’s popular coffee brand– Nescafé!
Leo has been a passionate and dedicated farmer since 1983 and is now the current Coffee Ambassador in the Philippines for the Project Coffee+ (read as Project Coffee Plus) of Germany’s Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Nestlé.
He’s also the current Chairman of the Palambuon Farmers Association.
ICYDK, Leo’s integrated farm is a crop combination of coffee, fruit trees, sayote, sweet pepper, and other Small-Medium-Long (SML) term crops.
Both him and his farm have been a role model for other farms and farmers over the years.
