In an article from Sun Star Cagayan de Oro, five individuals were injured in a road accident in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City last Saturday noon.
According to Bulua Police Station Chief Ian Datiles the dump truck involved in the accident go down to to the intersection road of Macapagal Drive-Bulua Highway, it loses its break and rush through six motorcycles and two multicabs then crashed into a bakeshop.
Further, the truck driver was identified as Benzoy Tadoy from Carmen, Cagayan de Oro who escaped after the incident.
In addition, the RTA Chief Jose Edgardo Uy stated that there’s no need of closing the road since it is the major road of the city and what happened is a clearly mechanical failure not of the road because the maintenance of the vehicle failed.
Lastly, the truck owner Nicanor Lacar already promised to help the victims of the unexpected incident.
