01 Dec Controversial Businessman Allan Bigcas Arrested for 4 Times Now
A controversial businessman was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at a man on November 30, Wednesday morning in a hotel in Cagayan de Oro City.
According to a report from Sun.Star, the businessman was identified as Lynard Allan Bigcas who was reported to have been arrested for four times now.
The businessmen got into a heated argument with a man who turned out to be a police officer identified as Abdul Wahid Abdullah.
The police officer was also a hotel guest who was about to leave the hotel when he met Bigcas at the lobby.
Police Senior Inspector Maricris Mulat said that it was Bigcas who first confronted Abdullah and then challenged him to fight.
It was said that the police officer walked away but Bigcas chased him. When Abdullah asserted that he is a policeman, the suspect then pointed a gun towards Abdullah which prompted him to run to the other building.
Mulat added that the suspect went back to his room and that’s where the police responded.
A 9mm pistol was recovered by the authorities from the suspect’s room and according to the investigators, it was not licensed.
Bigcas is now confined at Police Station 1-Divisoria and will be facing serious threat charges and illegal possession of firearms.
