08 Jun Team Cagayan de Oro City, Champions of the Tanduay Basketball League Mindanao!

On Sunday, June 5, team Cagayan de Oro City won the Tanduay Basketball League Mindanao Finals game against Surigao at Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center.
The team leading scorers were Mark John Daanoy with 22 points and Roberto Tamparong who added 16 on their way to defeat Surigao with a final score of 104-76.
Two Kagay-anons were included in the Mythical five (The best five players in the tournament). Included in the Mythical Five are Jimmy Labrador of General Santos City, Joel Sollano and Mark John Daanoy and of Cagayan de Oro City, Alexander Ellar of Surigao City and Davao’s Nicole Barrera.
