17 Jul Cagayan de Oro Joins 41st National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week Celebration
Mga higala! The City Government of Cagayan de Oro is now participating in the celebration of the 41st National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week, with the aim of “uplifting the economic and social conditions of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).”
This event features the theme “Lokal na Pamahalaan: Kabalikat sa Pagtupad ng Karapatan ng mga Taong May Kapansanan,” and is motivated to raise the level of public awareness on the needs and pressing issues of the PWD sector, by helping create an environment where they can be empowered and more self-sufficient so that they can enjoy productive lives.
