24 Oct Cagayan de Oro Handmade Paper Wins D&AD Future Impact Awards @ New York City
Mga higala! PINYAPEL, a locally-manufactured specialty paper made from discarded pineapple leaves by Cagayan de Oro Handmade Paper Crafts, has won the D&AD Future Impact Awards for Environment and Sustainability in New York City!
An official awarding ceremony will be held this coming November 6, 2019.
The D&AD Future Impact Awards is an annual activity that aims to recognize those who put their creative ideas into world-changing projects, products, and campaigns.
ICYDK, the pinyapel or pineapple paper is an innovative idea of Ms. Lolita “Luchi” B. Cabanlet, and was made possible with the help of the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP), and Nature’s Fresh.
