18 May Cagayan de Oro Investigates Recent Suicide Of COVID-19 Patient Inside TTMF
Mga higala! Mayor Oscar Moreno has ordered an investigation regarding the recent suicide of a male COVID-19 patient inside one of Cagayan de Oro City’s temporary treatment and monitoring facilities (TTMF)!
According to some initial information, the said patient was alone during the incident.
“We regret to announce that naa tay unsa ka residente in one of our TTMFs who allegedly committed suicide. We are having this investigated very thoroughly.
We extend our deepest condolences.
Ato ning atimanon, of course, and whatever be the wishes of the next of kin (cremation or burial), we will do.”
ICYDK, the city’s health personnel has been providing counseling to patients confined in the city’s isolation units and TTMFs in order to help them get through their quarantine period.
