Shown below is a list of the crime index rates from lowest to highest order. Thus, showing the safest city in Southeast Asia is Singapore.

Looking at Philippine cities that are being included in the list, Makati ranked second after Singapore. Then followed by Valenzuela and Davao.
And for the City of Golden Friendship, it ranked 8th following the island of Bali in Indonesia. Even though it ranked among top 5 cities with the most theft cases in the Philippines for the past 5 years, still, Cagayan de Oro garnered a safety index rate of 57.54 throughout Southeast Asia.
With the lowest safety index rate is the city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia with 26.84, compared to its crime index rate of 73.16.
