27 Oct Carlos Yulo To Receive P750,000 Incentives For Double-Medal Feat @ World Championships
Mga higala! The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Board has approved a total of P750,000 worth of special incentives for Carlos Yulo, as a reward for his amazing double-medal performance in the recent 2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Japan!
Yulo won a gold medal in the men’s vault and a silver medal in the men’s parallel bars, making him the first Filipino multi-medaled gymnast in the said competition.
Because of this historic achievement, PSC Chairman William Ramirez congratulated Yulo and expressed that “he has bounced back and showed us all that he is still our world champion in gymnastics.”
ICYDK, Yulo was unable to garner a medal in the Tokyo Olympics earlier this year.
