17 Nov Caught on Cam: Woman Stealing From A Senior Citizen
In an article from Sunstar PH, at 10:21am on Wednesday, November 15, at the Cagayan Electric Power & Light Company, Inc. (CEPALCO) an incident involving a woman and a senior citizen was caught on closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.
CCTV footage reveals that a senior citizen, Romulo Gonda (72 years old), a resident of San Agustin Valley Subdivision, Calaanan, was sitting on the benches while waiting for his turn to pay his electric bill. Upon calling his attention, unknowingly Gonda left his wallet on the benches.
Later on, a child who was playing around curiously saw the wallet. However, when the mother approached her child she saw the wallet on the benches, looked around then took the wallet and her child then left.

As per, Chief Police of Police Station 1 (PS1) Divisoria Police Senior Inspector Glenn Abalde, the incident is also considered as a theft case/stealing or crime, the fact that the woman neither surrendered nor returned the wallet to its rightful owner.
The authorities are know tracing the identity of the suspect and as well are demanding to surrender and return the wallet to its owner.
Inside Gonda’s wallet are his identification cards and double digits amount of money.
Authorities are reminding everyone to be a good samaritan to each other. When you find something valuable on the ground — be it a wallet or a piece of jewelry — don’t just leave it there for someone else to deal with. Do the right thing: pick it up, and make a reasonable effort to get it returned.
