09 May CDeO Athletes bring home 82 Palarong Pambansa 2017 medals

In a Facebook post from Cagayan de Oro City, the Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) brought a total of 82 medals in the recently Palarong Pambansa 2017 in Antique.
Top athletes from Cagayan de Oro (elementary and secondary) bound together as one as Team CDeO that heavily contributed for sports supremacy during the event.
They took home 15 gold, 7 silver and 14 bronze medals after the competition held in Antique City.
After Region 10 bagged 20 gold, 20 silver, and 42 bronze medals, NMRAA was the 8th placer in the overall ranking.
The City’s medalists were presented during the Monday’s flag raising ceremony at the City Hall by City Schools Division Sports Coordinator- Rosalio Vitorillo and City Sports Focal Person- Stephen ‘Pong’ Dacoco. With the acting City Administrator- Dionnie Gersana who represented Mayor Oscar Moreno.
The local government praised the athletes for their exceptional performance in the Palarong Pambansa 2017.
