In an article by Manila Bulletin, the EdTech startup Wela School Systems based in Cagayan de Oro City will be representing the Philippines in the upcoming five-day Start Jerusalem innovation event in November.

Wela School Systems’ main product is a cloud-based grading platform to help improve the productivity of the faculty members of different schools through their academics reports. To date, it is currently serving eight private schools in CdeO and has been operating for more than eight years now.

Wela Schools Systems brings a kind of technology to parents and guardians to monitor their children whether they are in school by sending them notifications through mobile applications. The parents can also track the student’s attendance, homework, academic grades, read school feeds and announcements from the schools as well.
