CdeO Government Enrols Rescued Children in ALS

Rescued street children who are now living at the Mother Theresa Oro Care for Children in Upper Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City were enrolled by the city government in the Alternative Learning System (ALS) through the City Social Welfare and Development ( CSWD) Office.

In an article from Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, there are seven (7) males and 42 female children who are now enrolled to learn how to read and write among others within the duration of their stay in the care facility.

It can be remembered that the CSWD is leading the cause of the city government to rescue kids who are living on the streets of the city and putting them under the care of facilities for children.
