20 Sep CdeO Government Expects To Receive Green Banner Award

In an article posted by Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, the City Government of Cagayan de Oro has high hopes to win the much-awaited Green Banner Award with its latest achievement to help to find ways how to answer and resolve malnutrition among the poor in different barangays of the city.
The local government has also been working with the Department of Education-Division of Cagayan de Oro in collaboration with various programs, private institutions, and nongovernment organizations in addressing hunger and malnutrition among students.
Mayor Moreno said this achievement and victory against malnutrition was achieved through the unified effort and streamlining of the City Hall bureaucracy. As a result, the mayor encouraged those who are involved in putting an end to malnutrition to also extend their efforts in catering pregnant women.
