06 Sep CdeO Government Gives Scholarship To Children Of Former Waste-pickers

In an article posted by Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, eight students from families of former waste-pickers at the now-closed Upper Carmen Landfill in Cagayan de Oro City were given scholarships through the City College Scholarship Program.
These students are currently studying in Cagayan de Oro College (COC)-PHINMA.
Apart from that, the City Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) also provided educational assistance to elementary, secondary and senior high schools pupils and students.
The program was made possible through the efforts of the City Government and City Officials of CdeO.
