15 Sep CdeO Vice Mayor And Other 15 Councilors Negative In Surprise Drug Test
In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the result of the mandatory drug testing for government officials resulted negative.
The Members of the 18th City Council led by Vice Mayor Rainer Joaquin Uy have undergone a “surprise” drug testing during their council regular meeting last Monday, September 11. Uy and other 15 councilors were negative of illegal substance in their body system.
According to the Chairman of the Police Committee, Fire and Public Safety Kagawad Romeo Calizo, the result of the drug test proved the credibility of his colleagues and the strengthened the strict campaign of the city against illegal drug trafficking.
The City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) assures that all employees of the city hall will undergo the same random mandatory drug test.
