In an article posted by Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, Cagayan de Oro won as the White Water Rafting Capital in the Philippines in the recently concluded 28th Philippine Travel Mart last September 1, 2 and 3, 2017 held at the SM Mall of Asia.
The delegation was headed by Cagayan de Oro City Tourism Council Chairperson Dorothy Jean Pabayo and Chairman of Tourism and Councils’ Committee City Councilor Jay Roa Pascual.
Among other cities and municipalities in the country, Cagayan de Oro City won as 1st Runner Up in the booth competition.
Officer-In-Charge of the City Tourism Office, Glady’s Gabutan, thanked the Oro Association of Rafters (OAR) for lending their raft for the booth presentation.
City Administrator Dionnie Gersana also thanked all the forces of the City Tourism Council and City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office for their support and effort.
