17 Aug CDO Records 4 New COVID-19 Delta Variant Cases, Youngest: 1-Year-Old Boy
Mga higala! 4 new COVID-19 Delta variant cases were recently detected in Cagayan de Oro City!
This was confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH) and was reported yesterday, August 16, during the city’s daily press briefing.
Below are the said Delta cases:
- 37-year-old female from Brgy. Macasandig
- 56-year old female from Brgy. Carmen
- 25-year-old female from Brgy. Balulang
These 3 are said to be from the same company. Meanwhile, the 4th one is a:
- 1-year-old male baby with an address in the city (still being verified)
All these cases have already finished their required quarantine period (with no symptoms) and were certified clinically recovered.
However, after being tagged as Delta variant cases, they were extracted again and were placed in a DOH isolation facility.
Intensive contact tracing and monitoring are now being conducted.
